Breakfast - Snack Pak

The most important meal of the day, breakfast, is offered at all of the schools everyday.
We have several items for your child to choose from every day.
 

Elementary School Breakfast Menu

  • A Bagel with Cream Cheese or Peanut Butter
  • A Variety of Whole Grain and Low Sugar Cereals
  • Whole Grain Breakfast Entrée
  • Yogurt and Trail-mix
  • Snack Crackers and Cheese Stick
 

Keene Middle and High School Breakfast Menus

  • A Bagel with Cream Cheese or Peanut Butter
  • A Variety of Whole Grain and Low Sugar Cereals
  • Whole Grain Breakfast Entrée
  • Variety of Hot Breakfast Sandwiches
  • French Toast Sticks
 
In addition to the breakfast entrée, a variety of milk and 100% fruit juice and/or fruit are included with the meal.
Breakfast/snack time varies at each school, so please ask at your cafeteria what time you can enjoy a healthy breakfast at school!
At the elementary schools, if your child is free or reduced, and they have not already eaten breakfast on the day they are purchasing the Snack Pak, then it will count as their breakfast and be free or reduced depending on their eligibility. If they have already purchased a breakfast before school, you WILL BE CHARGED $1.50 for the extra meal.

If your child is a full paid student, the cost of Breakfast or Snack Pak is $1.50
 

Lunch

Hungry students cannot learn!

They need to get re-fueled so they can get through the rest of the day! School lunch offers a variety of choices to do just that!

  • The main meal of the day includes 5 components
  • Protein
  • Vegetable and/or Garden Salad with Toppings
  • Grain
  • Fruit or 100% Fruit Juice
  • A Variety of 1% or fat free Milk

Samples of the entrée include:
  • Pasta with Homemade Bolognese Sauce
  • Grilled Chicken Fajitas
  • Roast Pork Lo Mein
  • Whole Muscle Chicken Breast on a Roll
  • Cheese Pizza
  • Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad
  • Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry
 
Keene Elementary, Marlborough and Chesterfield Schools
Along with the main meal of the day, your child can choose to have a yogurt or sandwich meal.

Grab & Go Salads are also available at Marlborough and Chesterfield Schools
 

Keene Middle School

At Keene Middle School, in additional to the main meal selections, students can chooise from a variety of sandwiches, yogurt, and grab & Go Salads for lunch. There are also a limited variety of smart snack a la carte items that are for sale during the lunch period.
 
Your child MUST have funds in their account in order to make ANY a la carte purchases!

Keene High School

Keene High School offers a wide variety of options for lunch.
 
Please talk with your child and decide as a family what you want them to purchase. Parents/Guardian will be responsible for the purchases that the students make.
 
The complete meal choices of the day are always the most nutritionally balanced and cost effective. There are many entrees available with the complete meal such as several choices of sandwiches including wraps and bagel sandwiches, grab and go salads, yogurt, and hamburgers.
 
There are also a la carte items available and sandwiches from the grill that are not part of the main meal of the day. If your child has funds in their account, they WILL be allowed to purchase a la carte items. If you DO NOT want you child to be able to make a la carte purchases, you MUST send us a letter in writing to limit their account.

Pricing for these items will vary depending on what is being purchased.
