He wants a discussion you okay all right so going over this month's financial report the largest changes that you were going to see that we have some savings due to the gym are they guaranteed Max right on the insurance we had budgeted 4.6% because that's what we were given last year by the insurance company the actually came in at .8% this year so when you see a lot of savings for regular instruction for instance of about $4,000 that's awesome salary and benefits can really what you're looking at is the savings on you special instruction the same thing notes here so we have $5,400 in savings and salary benefits for regular instruction we save $16,000 in special instruction and that is due to a new hire so obviously the salary rate is changed benefit election significance tell me the benefits of special education similar situation with guidance we are looking at about a $14,826 savings from budget and again that the benefit elections salary differences from previous employee to the current we went from a $286 deficit and Health Services into a $31 projected Surplus and again we had 280 Star Wars over on the supply line last month but that's offset by about $317 and that's really the savings on the benefits due to the increase percentage we had a $220 savings sit in the same reason for psychology Psychological Services there's been no major changes until we get down to the school board Services we have eight hundred and $3 in legal fees over budget this year I do believe that is because of the bargaining we have a projected surplus of $2,274 in salary and benefit ministrator Services GM are related I don't think there's any benefit of anything different in the elections Building Services we were about five $10 over budget for Building Maintenance and 1464 supplies we all set that song with $1,581 in Savings in benefits weekend that's the gmr entry patient services new actual contract just slightly below budget so we see a small Surplus $13 when we come down to the bottom that gives us a that projected surplus of $70,028 as of this month other questions are not heard back from right now we're pretty we're pretty close to on budget and looking fairly good Johnny Carson's in Valatie $15 over and over again so sure all right if we can make a I mean we can favor of accepting financial report say I team tuition rate this year the King High School or next year the King High School tuition right will be $14,511 which is not a huge difference last year and Zaki high school special education tuition be $29,955 which is down slightly from Fish Eaters well so I just makes me not to do any of that information 2021-2022 gmr insurance so we have a projected guaranteed Max rate increase for 2122 of 6.1% I did not I did not write those . I forgot that one yes I will all right I thought I had it digitally I do not south of the DMR do we have to accept the right and just. no I'm not sure why there's an action there should have just been a mess I'm missing something Cherokee can everybody hear me buy internet has been coming in and out at my house so if I get off I will join right right away alright so we have had a few move-ins we are now up to 66 256 are participating in the hybrid model until on November 29th text Will Go only remote we have started to talk about what that's going to look like pastries sick staff and I have some ideas we need a little bit more time to discuss are hybrids Easton will participate in a digital remote learning program and will make sure that a non-digital alternative will be provided they run in difficult or unreliable we received an anonymous donation of approximately $500 a Community member graciously purchase all of our thoughts or hidden in our school they are the waterproof added kind of Christian spots that you might sit on at a stadium and so I would like to ask the school board to please accept racist donation and I will certainly find a way to track down at Community member and we appreciate their support we would also like to reallocate the excess money that was graciously donated by our PTO and a family purchased our Adirondack there's which our students are using every single day but would have hope that we use the $328 for those that we don't have to purchase those week with use those. Waterproof gloves and some miscellaneous clothing items that are things might need to stay warm as they do later Outdoor Learning in the winter time I have given a professional development update workshops that I will be attending with our special education teacher Amanda cross we all staff so what time does the FAU I professional development day on November 3rd that included the mandatory training regarding suicide prevention staff also Sanders movie and completed at or purchase infantile discussion and were able to watch and follow up on a book read from Manny Scott he's one of the Freedom Writers I need a keynote presenter author motivational speaker the feedback I received was just it was a wonderful day it was heavy but it was one that lots of folks walked away from with resources certainly indicated that they wanted at Gaffney Daddy's were hoping to fall that all together and Rob you as well thank you it was a very sick we have completed aimsweb Plus or all students in kindergarten through six rainy and we are wrapping up our interim assessments through the New Hampshire Statewide assessment system that was completed by students in grades 4-6 they were assessed on previous grade level contact I've also included some committee report including data which will be meeting on November 30th to review aimsweb Plus data and the begin intervention planning calendar committee will be meeting on December 3rd and I also recently attended the wellness committee meeting in which the group provided some school specific examples of healthy habits so at this time I would just ask and I don't know if it's appropriate for this moment but just us aboard please at the gracious donation of $500 and also to consider allowing us to reallocate $5,328 anyone have any questions or I can clarify anything make a motion to reallocate the money SCS fit and accepting $500 Anonymous donation any other discussion at sounds great thank you that's right want to clear her for the policy thing and waste I guess is there any is there any other things you had I think just we should still continue to see the fall Retreat there as I like is there any but I mean I mean school or near school is at what is one of the thoughts on that I guess I'm not against it just seems like to have a Google meet thing would it's not really. Asians that need to be made as we're at the ones who work with these students day in and day out our staff are the ones that we work with me and stay out so no regrets right thing to do what we want to do but the right thing so seems like if you probably took like the number Chester Nashville I call the big school district we probably already be in the majority right now without doing any Elkins all the bigger school districts are the ones are doing the first yeah yeah I think you're right Eric I think I think where they're starting to see up ticks inside of their buildings in all their they're shifting much quicker and I think what we did was we took a little bit more of a proactive approach and said look we're going to make this shift here is when we're going to do it before we see those Up Kicks inside of our building so you know what I think that might be the big difference we're seeing up chicks in those those Barger metropolises if there are such a thing in the state where they're making the shift and they're doing it more suddenly I'm we're seeing that even in some of the smaller schools I know it was school it's just outside of sau29 that had had a little bit of an outbreak and they had to shift from last night to this morning to completely remote and that would have been quite a hardship for families in hardship for the staff as well so I think being proactive before you get those outbreaks is is responsible and you know I'm going to stand by that recommendation that decision I really appreciate the support that the board shown throughout the entire pandemic inclusive of this most recent decision that needed to be made so how are the teachers feeling a I think I'm looking forward to taking some time on Wednesday we've carved out a little extra time for us to get together as a group and talk about with remote learning is going to look like at it within our community and what resources do we currently have and what do we need to work together prepare for that what I have to say that we're extremely well prepared for the show start learning our routine triage issues a lot of the way I'm so I think we're in a good point in and that has helped we've also made herself available to make sure that if people want to talk about it if their emotions are running High weather be for students or adults that they have resources to be able to go to an end talk about it so I can Vernon okay spot I'm looking forward to having a discussion with the staff though and doing what's best Market the various anecdotally Melody I've received messages from staff throughout the entire essay you saying thank you for making this difficult decision I haven't had one that came back that said what are you thinking all of them just that I've received anecdotally have been thank you this takes a lot of anxiety off of what are the next steps are needed just reassuring them that we're going to make sure we address those next steps but they were relieved for the most from everything that has come my way let me get back to that share screen how is the policy stuff you guys know I wasn't really oh shoot course I didn't have that tab open there we go do you want me to watch to get out of Grey ACG which all has to do with tobacco products excetera and if those three policies are the hours for the  policies in the list and they're all identical and the changes were around on cluding expanding some definitions we also change the title the definition of devices and can you liquid what that was and adding that language all throughout the document so that it was more comprehensive than what we hopefully will never see in Harrisville but could potentially questions on that one look at you go on that 20 a gif for Indy at 5 or 5 the series Administration Federal grant funds that you know we were out of compliance and having these funds pick up to speed the one has to do with another procurement of additional stuff is Food Service program and the other one is Inventory management and their pre boil plates Mediterranean required both policies are required by law quite down by almost questions on hose spell jfab with talk about that one I ended up not changing that if you remember that one came up last spring cuz we should have it.
