The most important meal of the day, breakfast, is offered at all of our schools and we have several items for our students to choose from daily.

 

A Bagel with Cream Cheese or Peanut Butter
A Variety of Whole Grain and Low Sugar Cereals
Yogurt and Snack Crackers

Snack Crackers & Cheese Stick

Whole Grain Mini Donuts

Whole Grain Cinnamon Bun

In addition to the breakfast entrée, a variety of milk and 100% fruit juice or fruit are included with the meal. Breakfast and snack time varies at each of our schools, so please ask your cafeteria for the time your child can enjoy a healthy breakfast at school!

For elementary students, if a student is free and reduced, and they have not already eaten breakfast, they may purchase the Snack Pak and it will count as their breakfast and be free or reduced depending on their eligibility. If a free and reduced student has already purchased breakfast before school and purchase a Snack Pak, they will be charged $1.35 for the extra meal.

 

 

Hungry students cannot learn! They need to get re-fueled, so they can get through the rest of the day! School lunch offers a variety of choices to do just that!

The main meal of the day includes

Main Entrée choice
Vegetable and/or Garden Salad with Toppings
Whole Grain Rice or Pasta or Bread
Fruit or 100% Fruit Juice
A Variety of 1% or fat free Milk

Pasta with Homemade Bolognese Sauce
Grilled Chicken Fajitas
Roast Pork Lo Mein
Whole Muscle Chicken Breast on a Roll
Cheese Pizza
Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad
Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry

Keene Elementary, Marlborough and Chesterfield Schools
Along with the main meal of the day, your child can choose to have a yogurt or sandwich meal.

Grab & Go Salads are also available at Keene Middle and High School, Marlborough and Chesterfield Schools

Keene Middle School
At Keene Middle School, in additional to the main meal selections, there are a limited variety of smart snack items that are for sale during the lunch period.

Your child MUST have funds in their account in order to make ANY a la carte purchases!

 

 

Keene High School offers a wide variety of options for lunch, including the main meal of the each day.

Please talk with your child and decide as a family what you want them to purchase. Parents/Guardian will be responsible for the purchases that the students make.

The complete meal choices of the day are always the most nutritionally balanced and cost effective. There are many entrees available with the complete meal such as several choices of sandwiches including wraps and bagel sandwiches, grab and go salads, yogurt, hamburgers, and hot dogs.

There are also a la carte items available and sandwiches from the grill that are not part of the main meal of the day. If your child has funds in their account, they WILL be allowed to purchase a la carte items. If you DO NOT want you child to be able to make a la carte purchases, you MUST send us a letter in writing to limit their account.

Pricing for these items will vary depending on what is being purchased.
