Guiding Students Towards Success and Well-being
At SAU 29, our School Counseling department is a cornerstone of student support, dedicated to fostering the academic, career, and social-emotional development of every learner. Our professional school counselors serve as advocates, mentors, and resources, working collaboratively with students, families, and staff to create a supportive environment where all students can thrive. We believe in empowering students to navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and develop the essential skills for a fulfilling future.
Inquiring About a 504 Accommodations Plan
For students who may require accommodations to access their education due to a disability, a 504 Plan can be a vital support. If you believe your child may need a 504 Plan, please contact your child's school counselor. They can provide information about the eligibility criteria, the evaluation process, and guide you through the steps to inquire about or initiate a 504 Plan. Our goal is to ensure all students have equitable access to their learning environment.
Our Wellness Committee
SAU 29 is proud to have an active Wellness Committee, a collaborative group of staff, parents, students, and community members. This committee is dedicated to promoting a holistic approach to health and well-being within our school community. The Wellness Committee focuses on initiatives related to nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and social-emotional learning, continually working to create a healthier and more supportive environment for everyone.
