Message from Superintendent  Robb Malay

Superintendent Robert Malay
Happy New Year! I wish you good health and success with your goals for 2017. As an education community we made great strides last year and I look forward to continuing our progress in the New Year. One hallmark from last year was the completion of our shared vision statement, Inspiring and Empowering Every Student to Succeed. We have embedded this statement into the work we do each day on behalf of the students of SAU29. As we wrapped up last year, we also increased our communications efforts and outreach and look forward to even more opportunities to tout the accomplishments of our students and staff throughout the year.  READ MORE

Message from the Board Chair Ege Cordell

Ege CordellHappy New Year SAU29 Community!
It’s no secret we all have politics on the brain, so I’d like to suggest that we focus our energies locally right now, and look at openings on our region’s school boards. Each of SAU29’s municipalities have their own board, responsible for budgeting, personnel and policy.  The boards meet once a month, with additional work to be done through subcommittees of the board.  Could you see yourself sitting on Finance, Education, Facilities, Health & Wellness or some of the other strategic committees which work closely with building administration to provide the best possible environment for our students and staff?  If you or someone you know is interested in taking the leap into the wonderful world of school boarding, please submit your candidacy during your community’s upcoming open filing period.  Elections are in March, and as I run for a fourth term myself, I can confidently state there is no finer opportunity than to serve your community!  Looking forward to seeing new faces this spring, along with the many standing board members.

The goal was to purchase 35 boxes @ $10.00 each or $350.00, but they have instead raised $1050 (exactly triple their goal). To celebrate, Principal Mark Hayward and some other staff members will be getting a pie in the face.
