Validation that you are not crazy and that your child IS normal!
It's really all about meetings that provide you resources and information to help you understand the developmental changes that happen to our children at this age. These meetings provide a forum for learning how to cope with challenges that arise and provide a communication link between parents and the KMS Staff. We are NOT a fund raising group! If you are interested, there are other ways to be involved in your child's Middle School experience. The opportunities to maintain or establish connections with your child's school don't end after he/she leaves elementary school. You can volunteer for a number of various activities and classroom assistance. While you may hear or sense some reluctance on your child's part to have you involved, volunteering gives you the opportunity to see first hand what KMS is all about!
