The town comprises a total area of 47.6 square miles and is bounded on the west by the Connecticut River, with the highest point of the town resting on its southern border, atop Davis Hill (1,427 feet above sea level).
Chesterfield is nestled on a beautiful countryside that includes the village of Spofford, Chesterfield Gorge, the Wantastiquet Mountain State Forest and portions of Pisgah State Park. |
