be an added expense the night of the school district four Town budgeted for the estimates we received in the summer ran from $1,400 to $2,000 per event that would have cost the town and the district receive $31,000 in cash navigate in the 2122 school year this is a formula used by the state that reimburses 80% of cost over three times the New Hampshire average cost basis and then 100% of the cost that exceed 10 times in New Hampshire average cost however the state has not been fully funding their obligation and reimburse is roughly 65 cents on the dollar the timeline for this reimbursement is the next fiscal year so any expenses incurred this year will be reimbursed next year question number for if all warrants are approved what will be the total tax impact on individuals families and homes increase is the $273,638 which is 3.2% increase the school property tax increase is $526,833 which is 7.4 percent school property tax rate increase is $1 0055 which is 1.037 1% School tax change on $100,000 property is $100.55 the school tax change on $150,000 property is $150.83 the school tax change on $200,000 property is $201.10 additional warrant articles which include a capital reserve fund transfer building article number three is a total of $10,000 which is an additional tax of $10,000 Expendable trust fund transfer article is a total of $5,000 which is an additional tax of $5,000 to c e a contract which is article number 5 is the total of $36,230 which is an additional tax of $36 $230 and the capital trust but Reserve fund withdrawal is $87,200 which is no additional tax the increase of all warrant articles pass is $1 Point 1224 8.2% total of $541,833 which is a total tax change for the school $100,000 property of $112.24 school tax change on $150,000 property is $168.36 and the school tax change on a $200,000 property it's $224.48 thank you question number 5 what if any egg could be anticipated from the possible passage of the current bill being considered United States Senate as it relates to the reopening of schools ESS are two funds were passed by the United States Senate Chesterfield be receiving an addition $125,000 These funds need to be directly tied to additional expenses realized as a result of covid-19 and need to be expended by September 2023 thank you did the school save any money in transportation cost this year due to frequent remote only days or are we Bound by the terms are of our original contract with the bus company what are the bus cost assumptions for the 2021 to 2022 school year Visa Deez the impact of colon we signed a contract school district are these services and in particular the associated costs in line with other New Hampshire districts Chesterfield School in the Chesterfield School District received the following Services of individual departments office of superintendent business office services Student Services office Human Resources office and information technology department because of the unique structure of SAU 29 in which each district is a separate entity each district pay significantly less by sharing these services in comparison to districts that staff the services individually take for example a neighbor school district of a similar size to Chesterfield that pays nearly $750,000 for just the services is at a superintendent's office part-time superintendent business office and IT department and you'll quickly see the value that Chesterfield school and District are getting for the amount they are pay a question to ask yours once I was at Malaysia in previous years. Russian Gary will take roll call Nick bielski yes Janine hockensmith yes yes yes motion carries in the affirmative and that is by unanimous call thank you move to article for articles for is to see if the district will vote to raise and appropriate to some $5,000 to be added to the special education High School tuition fund established by the voters on March 7th 1992 full amount is to be raised from taxation is articles record by the Chester budget committee and the Chesterfield School Board get a majority vote is required seeing as there were no public input and comments received I will make a motion to move Article 4 has presented on 2nd any discussion we are ready for roll call Gary discussion than Janine hockensmith Janine I'm voting yes Amy treat I said yes Microtel Yes bielski yes again the motion carries unanimously in the affirmative article V I believe collective bargaining agreement to see if the school district will vote to approve the cost items included in the collective bargaining agreement reached by the Chesterfield School District in the chest bill at Education Association which calls for the following increase Susan salaries and benefits at the current Staffing level for the fiscal year 2021 to 2022 estimated increase is $36,230 for the year 22 to 2023 estimated increase is $58,244 for the fiscal year 2023 to 2024 estimated increase is 47 $1,680 and for the fiscal year 2024 to 2025 yes made increase is $66,610 and further to raise an appropriate 30s 1230 dollars for the current fiscal year such some representing the additional cost attributable to the increase in salaries and benefits required by the SD new agreement how's that would be paid at current Staffing levels the board recommends this article and the Chesterfield budget committee recommends this article again this is a majority Bolt are required Gary we do have a question on this warrant National Ward 5 is reference was made at the meetings to certain language changes in the proposed contract extension with the Chesapeake Education Association what were those language changes what was the rationale for making those changes what impact will this have for the teachers and administration moving forward over the next 4 years and I will refer to the public hearing handout created to identify the main points of the agreed-upon contract Chesterfield education Association is a bargaining unit consisting of 32 professional staff or employed in the Chesterfield School District it does review the following items from the warrants the annual increases year one by 1.26% the salary increases of 1.63 year to Total comp increases by 1.94 salary increases of 2.26 years compensation increases by 1.55 salary increases of 1.84 + year for total comp increases by 2.14 with salary increases of 2.53 in 2122 the district will need to raise an appropriate again a repetition of Gary $36,230 for pay and benefits as a result of this agreement will result in an increase of 2.069 cents on the educational property tax rate resulting in $6.88 annually in additional property tax on $1,000 home if TSA that remains constant from 2221 the approximate increase cost for the next three years are 58000 to 44 47,000 686 6610 I might have missed one sorry my glasses are out those are the next three years sorry I'd like to clarify now the language changes which is in direct response to the question these are made to add Clarity around administrative oversight classroom reassignment personal days and allocation of preparation. garage there will be a large tent located right on that corner at that location you'll check in and you'll pick up your ballot still be 5 ballots if you'll receive again they are quite lengthy I would strongly advise you to bring a book for clipboard to write on I bring writing materials you will need to have a ID at that time to be checked in at the voter checklist will be at that 10 what we ask is that you present your ID up to the window or stick your arm out arm blade out the window so that the person checking you in and see your ID that there are multiple people in the car that is from Bratayley chap if they are voting each will have to present their IDs in order to receive a ballot at that point you'll receive your balance and all of one last thing as we are asking individuals in the car to have a mask at that time for the protection of our workers you will then proceed from that location down left hand side of the garage and how to the back of the garage where you will be allowed to park and Mark your ballots please take advantage of this do not try to sit in line and end complete your balance because individuals may get done quicker than you or whatever and it will block up traffic after you are completed your balance and and they're ready to return them you'll drive on the other side of the garage back to a tent located near the entrance to the garage when you first came in at that point you will turn in your balance again you will be checked off you do not you need your ID at the second location thank you are you not need your ID at the second at location to deposit your ballot please put them back together in by person preferably for the first people that are collecting those ballots I'll give you all need to give your names and that point you will exit the voting location and you see there is a lacrosse pads there with people coming in so please take care they will likely at least during the peak traffic times like be someone there to facilitate entrance entering and exiting the Please be aware that you are crossing traffic if you are not registered to vote currently you will be allowed to register on day of the voting you cannot do so at this point in time though you are I don't believe you are allowed to do so prior to that day but on the day of voting you are allowed to register in order to register to vote if you look at the picture the highway burn you'll see it says check list on the top of it what you will do as you will turn out of line and drive up to the garage door is in front of the highway burn I believe the plan is to use the passage door that is right on the right hand corner of the burn to the right of the overhead door and inside you'll find supervisors of the checklist you need to bring the appropriate identification proof of residency in the town I believe that probably great I did not ask exactly what that entails leaving it probably entails your driving license red UK Top for identification and if you are Noodle Town if you can bring a or anybody registering You may wish to bring or should bring with you possibly electric bill or some other bill that shows the residency in
