call the meeting to order at 1:07 and the first thing we have is my second thing actually is approval of the May 20th we only have regular minutes makeup listen to approve the minutes from May 20th regular I said so have a roll call vote meant to send Miss Julie the next action item on the list there's the scholarship so I'll recuse myself from this and leave the meeting and then I get text or email me if and when I should come back so with that it's probably more appropriate to have your discussion regarding the scholarship in non-public RSA 91a public and I need a roll call vote and it says I sing recording now okay we're back from non-public and Karen has rejoined the meeting after she departed when going into the non-public and so we're back in the public session Okay so the other does anyone else have any other I have a few quick things but does anybody else have anything first a quick question did we nail down the start time for Marlow School District I was going through my things thank you do we want to do that so that we can put that out there more publicly yeah I am a couple of times but there was never assigned to the busing in the bus schedule anything out until we had something have you got anything on the bus. From my EDD for my alarm Mary shared we checked with him to see if it's the same I'm waiting on them to give me the draft contracts right now I have turned in everything that I need to give to them I'm just waiting so do we have a recommended start time for Perkins let me see what the last correspondence was while he's looking at up Dad can you just sort of review the outcome of the survey that you put out there just in general doesn't have to be worth respect to the ship yeah my connections really poor hold on my recollection of the survey and hopefully the other people remember this the same as my recollection otherwise I'm get a little bit of a problem that there seem to be an acceptance that school would start earlier and 750-755-8805 in that ballpark viewed as acceptable by my parents who responded to the survey sound about right down there are still some concerns about concerns about after school programming or after school doing what are they going to do with their kids after school there's some there was a pretty high volume of kids who were going to need some after school but as far as I know our Gilson program was going to be able to take our the number of kids that we we asked them if they could take the number that reported and they said yes so there is an option available is that going to be available though in the fall this year I mean I don't know we called after the survey just to find out but we haven't followed up since then. I didn't know where thoughts were like as far as having kids from other schools there you know yeah I think there's a lot of unknown still and it's something that we're going to have to stay in touch with throughout the summer league the school year so based on the recommended times through the whole RFP process for transportation Scott Stein death find what that recommended start time would be or at least the drop-off time last one with that we had Scott said they were dropping off at Perkins at 7:53 last one I had that I can't find anything new with the routes the only new route that I requested was Nelson because that wasn't acceptable if we said between 7:50 and 8 would that be right then yes that would be that's I mean that's the window that we were anticipating I just didn't know how how hard we had to lock it down I had 755 we probably should say 750 though just in case I mean case incentive usually it's 5 minutes after which is then the pickup time or when I leave school well the pickup time that we have the last one was the one that Gilson before care was at 7 and then it goes to 7:05 Sam Conway 717 I think she meant after school the end of the day the end of the day was Perkins at 2:30 would be getting out 45 minutes 5 minutes less I think your days 5 minutes to order depending on what he start 55 or 8 okay you got plenty of minutes in your day so that's not a problem. What I be saying though that drop off at 4 economy would be between 7:50 and 8 is that how I want to phrase it well if you want to Sage your start time we would you probably safely can say I would say that you should make date your start time and then you can you can treat that like you would like you currently do you know a drop off 10 minutes ahead of time start time 8 when the door is open cuz school doesn't usually start until we would get in it Driscoll specially starts right now at 8:15 I mean 8:40 sorry it breaks here right now is 8:40 to 3:15 let their children into the building if they were dropping them off and they wouldn't be getting off the bus until 8 well the bus might be dropping off at 7:53 like it says so that is that a problem Dan I don't think so I just a matter of of then like I understand like those start the exact start time we also like is in for breakfast right now breakfast window is typically larger than 10 minutes so you want to say 7:55 start time probably 805 Atwell I guess 8054 instruction right because we we want to give them 15 minutes for breakfast 7:55 to 8:05 what time you're opening the doors we don't open the doors right now we open the doors and exactly are you open the doors at 8 right now what time do you open your doors now since the bus is on time you don't have 7 minutes according to this sounds like a bus is going to have to hustle right out go to so if they get here at 7:50 they're not going to keep the kids for 3 or 4 minutes right so but it sounds like you're mad if they're saying that they're going to ride by something why don't you say 8:05 your start time okay thank you yeah okay 755 Nessa same as what you have now 10 minutes correct and it's Jo-Ann's at 2:30 and I've got a and that's not negotiable cuz I got to get back to Ken yep that's still enough I believe so and Dan you could have just cuz you can count one recess and you could have just sometime there but everything is good to your morning meeting is fighting a breakfast in the morning yes I am Mondays I said you're doing your morning meeting some days while they're eating aren't you or finishing up time doors open at 7:50 okay thank you so we should probably have a motion approve the 8 to 2:30 time for the school with the doors opening at 7:50 a commotion to the new start time for 8 doors opening at 7:50 to release at 2:30 second roll call that was the only other I had okay I have a couple but they're quick I wanted to thank Jen for helping at the border their sonographer he is an ever-present for us for all of us and I'm sure we'll see you tomorrow too if you haven't email Cathy beater if you're going to be able to attend the area meeting tomorrow night at 5 that you do so today I also wanted to thank Kayla for a representing the Marlow board in video for supporting the film theories presented by the SAU that is very much appreciated thank you very much so I was like I had some concerns like who actually we drop top teeth everyday cuz I know all of you and no one has said a word my apologies, this time I didn't forget reminder no end in the next couple of weeks are going to get the superintendent survey so please make sure that you're taking that that is one of our annual responsibilities for bored so I incurred talk you take that you usually get a couple of weeks but I'm saying I have four. E I guess. E maybe Rob I'd still like to get the updates from KMS and seen hi the reports that we get the annual report on arm Arlo I know there's a lot going on in this is not the most biggest priority for them at the moment but I didn't know how difficult it would be to pull together as we didn't get these last couple of meetings to be emailed you want me to follow up her up just please get it at some point other thing I had was for Scott you still here is the technology money and we going to get that in before the end of the year to get our data update or whatever that system update. And I think that's about it's for me the board retreat current situation or any recommendations so no one scheduled any at this point in time but there have been a couple District that a talked about it and everyone's kind of put things on hold for the time being it's just really hard to to effect only have a retreat in this type of format it makes it pretty difficult but we would really want to limit our focus in our scope just to be effective so that way have a robust conversation and we're not there for like a 4-Hour. Staring at each other on a little screen sister in September once we have a better idea of what's going on we absolutely can do that and that's probably a preferred Approach at this point I'm all and I had so I do have one more thing that's it I'm glad that you had your others because you reminded me of one other thing that will be going to the chair we did this last year and this well I'm right before the close of the school year that. Acacia now requires that the board chair initial and some of our program assurances that are related to federal funds basically saying that we're going to spend the money in accordance with with the intent of the grant or grants and so you probably already received it crispy but I do need to make sure that I mention it in a meeting when we do have a meeting so that they are if they it'll be in our minutes that we talked about the program insurances in the need for the board chair to go in there still a go sign those documents and now you remind me the surf is Where d it is important to take that as a I Think You Can Dance Singapore all both yeah it does it does say that you can respond more than once if you have more 40 minutes I took the one as a board member and it's a lot of it wasn't fitting for us it was like you know I had said it's about like your concerns for your students like as a teacher it was almost like as a teacher like having them in a classroom setting so I almost think that a parent is more effective thank you for that anyone else have anything and then we'll get this meeting adjourned are we still trying to get policy meeting you feel you have time Dan we don't have to schedule right now but that was still on the table it is for I think Dan would want to participate and everyone think about it do you feel you have time to do a policy meeting some afternoon or morning if we are FBI is as long as your shoot shoot me out a date I can carve out some time for that and then I'll work with Jay and the board to get one set up for a couple hours okay I can get everything ready for it so yep and your availability can't Karen or yeah I'm pretty flexible if you want to join us supposed to be working from home but it doesn't even go that well with a three-year-old into the screen from behind me over here marcador I promise I have nothing else unless anybody else call the meeting at Bond or free internet thank you all
