hello to our sau29 families imega Cordell sou board chair first I hope everyone is well and finding their way through this challenging time second that you and your kids are finding comfort in the continuation of school through remote learning it was a Herculean effort from everyone involved and it's impressive seeing our students adapt and commit to their studies these are historic times Forrestal and there is uncertainty surrounding so much of what we have previously taken for granted we are all experiencing unprecedented emotions fears anxiety and it is actually important that we hold these feel validate them and also find our way using mindful strategies maintaining positivity do not be afraid to reach out with my designated as mental health awareness month sau29 sponsoring viewings of The film's Angst like and the upstanders these films explore address and raise awareness around such topics as anxiety social media and cyberbullying these phones also come at a time when we find ourselves turning to our electronic devices more than ever for work play and connection I hope you have the opportunity to watch and see the importance and impact on our kids emotional social and mental well-being thanks to everyone out there for your hard work and perseverance and making remote learning possible with a special shout-out to the Keene paraprofessionals helping to sponsor bringing these films to our districts be safe and be well
