Dear Parents and Families,
I am happy to welcome you, or welcome you back, to another wonderful year at Wheelock! We in the PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) are excited and looking forward to the 2007-2008 school year.
As always, our goal is to provide a sense of community for the students, their parents and families, and to enrich the children’s school experience. Some of the activities the PTA supports are:

None of these activities would be possible without the fabulous parents who volunteer their time and resources. Since the PTA supports the whole school, we in turn ask each family to help in whatever capacity they are able. Some examples of school-wide fundraisers are:

Fundraisers with Local Restaurants
Another way to help is to attend PTA meetings and to give input. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the school library. Free, onsite supervised activities for children age three and up is always on hand.
If you can’t attend meetings but have an idea for a fundraiser; want to volunteer to coordinate or organize an activity; or just have an idea how things could be done a little differently, let us know. The PTA officers are:
