LIBRARY
All classes have a scheduled class time in the library each week. Nonscheduled time is available to all students.
Students are able, in all grades but Kindergarten (kinders may take out only one item at a time), to take out up
to three items each week. Students self-select books with the guidance of the librarian. If you feel your child is
taking out literature inappropriate for their age and reading ability, please discuss that with them. Feel free to
send a note in with your child to the librarian or the teacher who will then work more closely with your child to
make reading selections.
As a parent, you are also considered a library user and you may come in and choose books to read with your child which
can be taken out under your own name. The library is open most days at 8:00 am and after school until 3:30 pm unless
there is an after-school sports program taking place.
