In order to present student progress information in a more coherent fashion we have been placing more emphasis on children's actual work. This has necessitated more conferencing with both parents and students. Reporting this year will include student portfolios, checklists, student presentations and parent teacher (student) conferences.
Progress reports will be issued three (3) times per year.Even though scheduled conferences are only planned two and three times per year, parents who deem it necessary to confer with the teacher are encouraged to contact the school office to make an appointment at any time.
Parents are always welcome and encouraged to visit classrooms while school is in session. However, they are
asked not to attempt to confer with teachers during class sessions, since such time is reserved for instruction.
All visitors are required to report to the office before going to any classroom.
